Highly recommend this company. We had a fairly large move from one condo to another and they were quick to give an estimate and confirm everything. We had 4 guys move our two bedroom in one afternoon. It was a tight time frame with service elevators and they made it work. Showed up 15 minutes early which I feel needs to be highlighted! Everyone moved quickly and efficiently the entire afternoon. Nothing was broken and they took the time to put labeled bins in the appropriate rooms. Thanks again to our crew at First Wave Van Lines!

I had the best and most professional experience with First Wave Van Lines. They worked effortlessly for hours to help pack up the place and move us to our own home. They barely took any breaks and they were very courteous and warm. Always smiling even though it was a long day of nearly 11 hours. They were very polite and even helped with furniture that they didn’t have to move and helped make my daughters toddler bed. None of my furniture was damaged, all of it was placed safely in our new 2 floored home. They are the best I’d highly recommend them. First Wave Van Lines packing and packing service is also very thorough and worth it.

They’re fast! And very reliable. They wrap all of your things – TVs, dressers, they just know what they’re doing and they do it so well. They are Tetris pros and will make every bit fit! Great Experience with these movers! had to have fast move less than 30 day notice and they sure delivered. I have moved many times say almost annually and this was first time nothing damaged because they wrap everything they were careful, but quick, arrived on time called ahead kept me in the loop, but also careful. Listened when I told them what i thought was needing extra attention and were respectful of both apartment buildings given up and down in elevators, insurance cert required etc. Reasonable price given the city of Miami. They were able to fit me in day of when I got the keys to my apartment earlier than I expected! They were on time and careful with all of my things. They did a great job of wrapping up my couch and tv and other fragile items. They actually got my whole one bedroom done in 3.5 hrs even being on the third floor with stairs. The two men did an amazing job! I would definitely use them again. Overall though, best price around for great quality movers.

So I needed to move quickly two weeks ago and I got a quote and left a deposit with a large firm that advertises on the radio with the name of a Mediterranean country in it’s title, but then when I got the contract I was realizing that there were a ton of hidden charges and it was likely to balloon from about an $800 move to something over $2000 or $2000!!! so i quickly looked for another option and I went on this review website. I saw there was the send for quote it sent off to First Wave Van Lines. One of the first and they agreed they could accommodate me at very short notice. I cancelled the previous company right after. It was a Monday move and I was booking on Friday evening. The price was cheaper than the original company and they were great, they covered the floors in the condo hallways and they wrapped everything in black plastic with no surcharges, they were professional, they were nice to deal with straightforward,, not too much chitchat just hard work came in got out didn’t damage anything and everything landed in my storage absolutely perfectly. I would happily recommend First Wave Van Lines. They will take care of you.

My husband and I used First Wave Van Lines for a small commercial move. Off the bat it was a relief to talk to them because they had a can-do attitude. I had trouble finding with several other movers I tried. The team showed up where they were supposed to and got the job done with no drama. They also had the appropriate equipment for the job, including a pallet jack, which allowed them to put our heavy equipment on on and off the truck without any fuss. We were pleased with the results.

Moving is so stressful and this team couldn’t have done a better job. Nothing was broken, everything was carefully packed. We had their packers come the day before and they were professional, efficient, and didn’t stop for a minute. Same goes for the movers the next day. Great communication from the start so kudos to the front office people for ensuring everything is running smoothly.

The move team was amazing, they disassembled our beds and other furnishings. They packed/wrapped everything including all furniture, TVs, mirrors, big green egg, etc. and loaded their truck up for the drive. Once they got to my new house, they carefully unloaded everything, reassembled all my furniture items, unpack the TVs, and then cleaned up all of the packing material they used. This was the easiest move I have ever had and this was mostly due to the great team at First Wave Van Lines. If you want your move done right, then you can’t go wrong with these guys.

I contacted them using themoversbeware.com and they immediately responded. I chose them after seeing lots of good reviews and I must say they earned all 5 stars! My appointment was at 9am and they were in front at 8:56, I was was concerned like in other companies they will run the clock out to charge more but they were done on time. This guys did not stop for a second! I had heavy items on a 3rd floor and they just kept going up and spent those stairs like they were flat! Great personnel and attention!
It is important to note that I had all my stuff Boxed and Wrapped in order to save time and if you are looking to do the same I believe First Wave Van Lines will do beyond you expectation.
BTW I requested they show up wearing mask due to the current situation in my home and they properly did.

First Wave Van Lines were recommended to us by our realtor for our recent move, and we are so glad she did! They came over in advance to give us a quote for the packing and the move and we were all set to go. The team showed up right on time to start packing us up. We were moving a 2/2 and the three gentlemen had all of the boxes done. A couple of days later 4 men came back for the move. They showed up right on time, and got us out of our old place and into the new.

Not only were they pleasant, they were so detail oriented, and not a thing was broken or scratched. They put all of the furniture where we asked and out our beds back together perfectly. Once I opened all of the boxes, I truly realized what a great packing job they did. Everything was packed so well with paper…even plastic items.

This company was able to help me out with exactly what I was looking for. I needed to move some things from my office to my house. The movers were extremely professional, and on time. They even helped protect my valuable furniture with wrapping and blankets. And didn’t nickel and dime me for everything. Also better service than the ‘2 people with a vehicle’ company if you know what I mean… They also were able to make decisions on their own without me, having to tell them every little thing. We had First Wave Van Lines do our move today and they did an amazing job. The communication from start to finish was great. I was given a call to go over the quote and get more information once I confirmed that I was interested in using their services. I was also notified a few days before and also the day before to reconfirm that I was still wanting them to move for me.

I did a request on themoversbeware.com and it was sent to various movers but First Wave Van Lines price was very reasonable. If you are organized and have all your things ready for them to move out, it will go very fast and smooth.

The 3 guys that came today were all very nice, efficient and hard workers. I was concerned about whether or not they would wear masks and they all did from start to finish. The movers were very careful with our things and also made sure that they didn’t bump things against the walls or doors.

They wrapped our kitchen table with a moving blanket to protect it from scratching and also helped us put it together at the new house.

I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for someone to move your things especially if you are just doing a local move.

My wife and I just moved from our home of almost thirty years. I don’t write reviews, but had to do so for this one. First Wave Van Lines did an amazing job of making sure the move went smoothly and uneventfully. From start to finish the service provided was outstanding. I called FIrst Wave Van Lines and he came to our home to provide an accurate estimate. He showed up on time and was a pleasure to deal with. We opted for the pack and move option where First wave van lines sent its crew to the house the day before the move to pack our belongings. They made sure our possessions were carefully packed to prevent breakage. The next day — the day of the move — They returned and moved our possessions to the new house. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Before my move on December, I researched many moving companies. The stellar reviews for First Wave Van Lines kept them at the top of my list. They also had (in my opinion) good prices.

We reserved a 26 foot truck and 3 movers. We moved out of a 2-story, 2400 square foot house into another 2-story large house. We also added a stop to a storage unit for my daughter’s furniture.

One of the movers was in charge/lead guy. He was amazing. He explained everything, ensured our furniture was wrapped expertly, and carried gently. He made sure that any worries we had were put to rest. The other two movers- were wonderful. This team never stopped moving…up and down stairs, heavy items, a million boxes were all perfectly loaded into the truck. It was such a relief to have this team help us.

At our new home, they made sure to place every piece of furniture in the exact spot we wanted. They did not leave until everything was perfect.

If you’re looking for movers, this company will completely exceed your expectations. They were the best priced, but having them as your crew is the game changer for sure. No joke, request for them. They’re family and really bring that extra edge of communication and personal touch to your move. We moved from a 3bedroom full house into a 2bedroom apartment with 3 flights of stairs and these guys made it look like cake. My mom’s antiques that we are storing were handled with such care, the price we paid was seriously such a deal compared to what we got. We spent a week getting quotes for this move, so save yourself the time and feel confident that these guys are the real deal.

These folks are definitely worth 10 stars. Friendly, professional and efficient. They were very professional and came prepared for everything we had. I’ve always worried about hiring movers but these guys didn’t waste any time and were super careful with our stuff. Nothing was damaged and they set up our bed, connected the washer and dryer, placed antiques where we wanted them and even hauled stuff back to our other house and our sons. Price was very reasonable and the total job came in under our budget.

Excellent! We were moving back to the Phoenix area after being displaced from the CA wildfires. So, needless to say we were not in our right minds with months of navigating the situation, let alone having moving suddenly foisted upon us. We called upwards of a dozen different movers in both states and got quotes mostly in the same ballpark, but talking with JB gave me a real sense of calm. He kindly answered all of my questions and actually had some of his own to get a clear sense of what lay before him. This was especially appreciated given how lucky we were to have belongings that were able to be moved at all. Everyone I dealt with along the way was kind, clear and communicative about what to expect. On the day of the move, he and the gentleman who came with him were quick, efficient and careful with our belongings. First Wave Van Lines just did an excellent job in bringing over 100 boxes of paper up from the lower level of my Portland home, and then moving 50 of them, plus some other materials, into a storage unit in Vancouver. The movers were extremely courteous, extremely careful, and extremely efficient. They did the entire job in 90 minutes (really!) and the cost was extremely reasonable. I had a great experience with First Wave Van Lines, from the start to the end of my move.

To start, it was very easy to get an estimate and schedule my move. The final amount was completely in line with the original estimate. There were no surprise charges at the end.

The movers themselves were very conscientious and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently but also carefully. I felt bad that they had to carry a queen mattress and small sofa up three floors of a narrow apartment stairwell but that didn’t phase them. I’m glad I didn’t have to carry that stuff up those stairs!

So I was very glad I decided to entrust First Wave Van Lines with my moving needs (their review history on themoversreview.com played a huge role in that!). I heartily recommend them to anyone who needs help moving (it’s well worth the money!). And I’ll certainly call them again for my next move.

The manager of my storage facility gave First Wave Van Lines a high recommendation when I asked for moving companies to work with. He mentioned that there were only positive experiences.

I needed to get my move of fine furniture executed quickly with multiple stops. Having a team I could communicate comfortably was essential. I found the team who got the move done with efficiency and care. They were super easy so work with and I was really happy with their execution.

The move went so well I decided to use First Wave Van Lines the following week. I had the luck to have a team of three versus just two that I had arranged for. They were able to quickly ascertain what needed to be done across multiple stops. The team were so efficient, took good care of fine furniture, and got the job done.

I have a major move to the Seattle area and will no doubt use First Wave Van Lines.

We recently used First Wave Van Lines to move from a one bedroom in Seattle to a two bedroom in New York. What a warm, friendly, and efficient crew! These guys saved my damn life. Seriously. Not just the fact that they arrived exactly on time, not a minute late, they showed up with a FREAKING KILLER team, with a killer attitude, smiles, in control, and enthusiastic. They loaded everything carefully and with so much attention. They loaded the items intelligently, with deep intelligence. They were like pros beyond pros. Moving is a nightmare. Moving to a high rise is even worse. These guys came in like a skilled swat team, like Navy Seals and swooped in and took over. I used First Wave Van Lines in December to move my Medical practice from Aventura, Fl to Oregon (excellent service!) and I used them again this weekend for a residential move. This was a big move, from a 5 bedroom home, with complicated furniture to disassemble and fit through narrow doorways. The manager brought 2 additional men and I was amazed how quickly and efficiently they worked together. The most impressive part was when they had to fit everything they packed up from a 3000sq ft house into their truck and then repack it into my storage unit. I was sure I would have to rent an additional unit and instead they fit everything perfectly, stating and strategically carefully placing everything like a puzzle and even left room to spare. They worked diligently for 6 hours non stop – through the heat and rain and were so professional. Without hesitation I would recommend First Wave Van Lines for ANY business or residential move and without a doubt will definitely be utilizing their services in the future. I had a great experience with First Wave Van Lines yesterday. I searched high and low and by far, they offered the best moving price and had a same day turn around time. There were no hidden charges like with these other moving companies. We went over what I wanted and he worked a deal with me and provided a flat price and this is what I paid. There was no extra charge. I had to clean out a family member’s apartment and place their items in storage and unfortunately for me, the storage place was going to close before the movers could get the items there. First wave van lines called me immediately to make arrangements for my items. His guys were very professional, respectful and very “GENTLE” with moving our furniture. When we arrived the following day to the storage facility, despite a small hiccup, they got working and handled everything within a timely fashion. I had a great experience with them and would use them a 1000 times over. He even called me to ask how his workers were doing and once the job was done, he called again to be sure that I was satisfied with the service. I am glad I ran into first wave van lines.
